The Power of Listening to Your Body: My Healing Journey

In a world that often normalizes discomfort and pain, it’s easy to dismiss symptoms as just “part of getting older.” For years, I did the same. Migraines, cramps, brain fog, and recurring thrush—all things I assumed were just the ebb and flow of womanhood and age. But deep down, a part of me questioned this narrative. Why do we have to accept feeling awful as we grow older? Surely, our bodies are designed for vitality, not decline.

It was this inner voice—this persistent intuition—that became the cornerstone of my healing journey.

The Turning Point

Around six years ago, I began to notice patterns. My PMS symptoms were directly influenced by my habits, especially exercise. When I was consistent in my workouts, my migraines eased, my cramps lessened, and I felt more in control. This was my first big “aha” moment: the connection between lifestyle choices and how my body felt was undeniable.

In 2019, I discovered The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush by Andreas Moritz and the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. These teachings expanded my understanding of health. I embarked on a series of liver flushes that year and felt a profound shift in my body. My skin glowed, my energy soared, and everything seemed to fall into harmony.

That same year, I underwent IVF to welcome our beautiful baby into the world. Despite the challenges, I felt radiant—inside and out. I had also discovered yoga, not just as a physical practice but as a deeply healing one. It became both my sanctuary and my passion.

Challenges and Resilience

Like many journeys, mine was not linear. After giving birth during the pandemic and navigating profound personal loss—my beloved father passed away in December 2020—I found myself back at square one. Post-natal depression, physical pain, and grief overwhelmed me. On top of that, the hormonal aftermath of pregnancy and the stress of isolation took a massive toll on my body.

I realized that conventional approaches to health wouldn’t address what I was going through. I had to take responsibility for my healing.

Rebuilding from the Inside Out

Through tireless research, I began to rebuild. I embraced the protocols of Medical Medium and incorporated daily practices like lemon water and celery juice. I learned about the link between parasites, heavy metals, and chronic health issues.

Books by Hulda Clark, Alex Cousins, and Gabor Maté deepened my understanding of how toxins, trauma, and frequencies impact the body. Meditation with Joe Dispenza became a daily practice, reconnecting me to the power of my mind in healing.

Step by step, I reclaimed my vitality. It wasn’t overnight—healing is a journey, not a destination—but I began to feel lighter, stronger, and more empowered.

Sharing My Path

Today, I feel more in tune with my body than ever before. While I’m not at 100%, I’ve learned to honor where I am and trust the process. My menstrual cycle is less challenging, my energy is returning, and I feel deeply empowered to face whatever comes my way.

This journey has inspired me to share what I’ve learned. Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours researching, reading, and experimenting with different healing modalities. Now, I want to make it easier for others to access this wisdom.

I’m creating a simple, 10-step guide to improving your health, wherever you are in your journey. It’s designed to be practical, approachable, and empowering—because I believe everyone deserves to feel vibrant and whole.
